We're getting married

Two people, one adventure, and all our favourite people gathered in Hoedspruit to celebrate.

1 May 2027 · Khaya Ndlovu Safari Manor · Hoedspruit, Limpopo
Welcome

To our next chapter

We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of our favourite people.

We also just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us, encouraged us, and stood by us right from the beginning. And to all of our friends and family travelling from England and Denmark to South Africa to celebrate with us — thank you. The fact that you're even considering making the trip means the world to us, and we honestly can't wait to celebrate with you all in the bush.

Lots of love,
Keegs & Paul

Him

Paul

Loves sport, whether he's watching it, playing it, or shouting at Manchester United from the couch. He's happiest around a braai with friends, loves cooking, and takes card games far more seriously than necessary. He's definitely the calm and practical one — while somehow also being the person most likely to disappear halfway through a conversation because there's sport on somewhere.

Her

Keegs

Loves anything creative — art, music, baking, travelling, good food, and finding new places to explore. She's always planning the next trip, rearranging something in the house, or convincing Paul they definitely need another weekend away. She also has a deep love for the bush and wildlife, which is probably why half their trips somehow end up involving game drives and very early mornings.

Us

Together

We've known each other for most of our lives, thanks to our families being close friends, but never expected to end up together ourselves. Since getting together in 2019, we've spent a lot of time travelling and finding any excuse for a weekend away. More recently, life has become a lot busier — and a lot more fun — with our little boy Harry joining the adventure too.

The Details

Ceremony & Reception

Ceremony

1 May 2027 — 15:00

Followed by a game drive back to the lodge, then canapés and drinks before the reception begins.

Reception

From 18:00

Speeches, dinner, more speeches, and dancing until late at Khaya Ndlovu Safari Manor.

What to Wear

Semi Formal

Our dress code is semi-formal, but more than anything, we want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the day. As we'll be celebrating outdoors in the bush, the ground is naturally uneven, so we'd recommend block heels, wedges, or flats over stilettos. If possible, we'd love for you to embrace the setting with earthy, natural colours and avoid very bright shades. Think sage green, olive, beige, rust, soft blues, creams, and other nature-inspired tones that complement the beautiful surroundings.

Venue

Khaya Ndlovu Safari Manor

Nestled within the Rietspruit Big 5 Game Reserve, overlooking the Drakensberg mountains — bushveld, dramatic views, and incredible wildlife. It felt like the perfect place for us to celebrate this next chapter.

Getting There

R40, Hoedspruit, Limpopo

The closest airport is Hoedspruit Eastgate (HDS), with regular flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town. Most international guests will fly into Johannesburg first, then connect through to Hoedspruit.

Transport & Parking

Hire a car if you can

Parking is available at the venue. Hoedspruit and the surrounding bush lodges are quite spread out, though roads to the venue are accessible with a normal vehicle. More directions closer to the date.

A few bush notes May is one of our favourite times of year in the bush — warm days, cooler evenings, beautiful clear weather. Evenings can get chilly, so bring something warm. The terrain is uneven in places, so comfortable shoes are encouraged. And cellphone signal can be limited depending on where you're staying — which we secretly love.

Staying & Getting There

Travel & Accommodation

Accommodation

Unfortunately there's no accommodation at Khaya Ndlovu itself, as we'll be using the lodge for the bridal party. Luckily, Hoedspruit has wonderful options nearby — beautiful Airbnbs, bush lodges, hotels and guesthouses for every budget. We'd recommend booking sooner rather than later, as Hoedspruit gets busy over holiday periods.

Travel assistance available We can offer special accommodation rates if booked through Shawn Black — contact her directly on +27 79 223 5803.

Extending Your Stay

If you're staying a little longer and planning to extend your South African adventure after the wedding, we'd definitely recommend spending a few days in our hometown of White River. It's one of our favourite parts of the country, and we'd love to help you make the most of your trip. Feel free to reach out to either of us for accommodation recommendations or any local tips — we're always happy to help!

Gift Registry

Your presence is the gift

Your presence at our wedding is honestly the greatest gift we could ask for, especially for those travelling all the way from overseas to celebrate with us.

As we've already built a home together — and collected more than enough kitchen appliances — we kindly ask that if you'd like to give a gift, you rather contribute towards our honeymoon and future adventures together.

For our international guests, we know travelling to South Africa is already a huge expense, so please don't feel any pressure at all. Having you there to celebrate with us truly means the world. Contribution details will follow closer to the wedding, or feel free to contact us directly.

Kindly RSVP by 1 December 2026

As much as we'd love to celebrate with everyone, we've had to keep our guest list as intimate as possible. For this reason, invitations are extended only to those named on the invitation, and unfortunately we're unable to accommodate additional guests or children. We hope you understand, and we're so grateful for your love and support as we celebrate this special day with our nearest and dearest.

Thank you!
